LOWER PANGBOCHE - Last Real Village

    Lower Pangboche is simply a touristic extension of the old village of Pangboche higher up. It also used to be the upper limit of permanent settlement before trekkers started coming in.

    A visit to the old village is highly recommended. You could either take a quick detour, or better, take the scenic route to Namche via old Pangboche and Phortse on your way back.
